Xantia Air-conditioning repair :Dashboard removal

Here is my Xantia. From picture on left hand side, the dashboard has been removed to change the new fan coil and heater coil. In order to replace them, we need to pull everythings out, change them and reassembly all stuffs. Both of them, if possible, recommend to change at the same time to save your labor cost. The useful life is likely the same.

To prevent colling coil from contamination, and prolong your compressor life, you need to ; 1.Change pollen filter every 50,000 km. 2.Cleaning pollen filter every 20,000 km. 3.Change the compressor lubicant eyery 40,000 - 50,000 km. 4.Change dryer every time you cleaning the system or 40,000-50,000 km.

Right hand side: the small one on the left is heating coil and the below one are cooling coils ( the right one is new and the left one is old) On top of coils: All components of colling and heating system under the dashboard.

Recommendation: When replace any coils or compressor or dryer, I recommend you to cleaning the air conditioning system with air conditioning cleaning solution, vaccume the old lubricant and fill up with the new oil. Sanden Lubicant is suitable for Xantia compressor and recommmend to use.
